Cabin presentation in seven minutes

Turndown is not a ritual for Instagram. It is a guest walking into a room that already knows them.

Seven minutes is a real number on a boat with six cabins and two of you. You cannot linger. You can still be precise.

Order I use: bathroom first (glass, chrome, towels, floor), then bed, then surfaces, then floor, then the air. Lights to the house setting. Curtains as the guest left them unless they asked otherwise. Water filled. Phone charged if that is the boat. A note only if the house does notes.

Turndown: dim, turn down the bed the way this guest likes — some hate the mint, some want the extra throw. The preferences book is not decoration. Use it.

Never leave your own smell. No heavy perfume in a cabin. If you steam, steam with the door and a window logic that does not dump humidity on the art.

The thing that gets you remembered: the book they were reading is still at the same page, the sunglasses are where they put them, and the safe is closed.
