Charter versus private: two different jobs
One is a hotel that moves. One is a house. Do not work them the same way.
Charter is pace, reset, briefing, a new family every few days, a smile that must reset too. You will be tired in the laundry and still laying a table as if it is the only week of the year. Because for them, it is.
Private is memory. The same people, the same water, the same complaints. You learn the dog's name and the way she takes tea at 6:40, not 7. You protect their privacy like it is the product — because it is.
On charter I over-brief my team. On private I over-listen. Both require the same hands. They do not require the same energy.
If you only want the Instagram of the Med in July, you will hate January in the yard. If you only want a quiet private couple, you may never learn speed. Do both if you can, early.
